PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of electric short-circuit between electrodes formed on forceps pieces each other, completely grasp a tissue piece, and favorably pick up the tissue piece. SOLUTION: This treatment tool includes a catheter tube 4 having flexibility, which can be inserted in the body, a support 6 installed on the distal end side of the catheter tube to hold a first cup-like forceps piece 12 and a second cup- like forceps piece 14 in such a manner as to be opposite to each other and be freely opened and closed, a first electrode formed on the first forceps piece, a second electrode formed on the second forceps piece, and a voltage supply means connected to the proximal end side of the catheter tube to supply high frequency voltage between the first electrode and the second electrode. In this case, with the first forceps piece 12 and the second forceps piece 14 closed to the maximum, a prescribed gap (t) is formed between the first electrode and the second electrode, and further the opposite surfaces of the first forceps piece and the second force piece are provided with projections 31, 33 projecting alternately. |
