PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and positively detect a failure generated due to the positional deviation of a tubular body from a mold when interposing the tubular body between a pair of an upper and a lower sheet and sealing the circumference of the tubular body with the sheets by holding the sheets from above and below at a region where the tubular body is interposed, using the mold. SOLUTION: The device and the method using this device are for detecting a failure, and especially, a mold 5 is equipped with a distance sensor 7 for measuring a distance between the halves of the mold 5 when the sheets 2a are held between the halves of the mold 5. When a measurement value obtained by the distance sensor 7 exceeds a specified value, this region where this difference is found is detected as a failure generating region. |
