PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fat and oil recovery apparatus for a roaster whose maintenance work frequency can be decreased by employing a specified type of an adsorbent for primary treatment of the waste gas of the roaster. SOLUTION: A fat and oil adsorption body 35 to pass a waste gas through is installed in the primary treatment side of a suction route of the waste gas. The fat and oil adsorption body 35 is formed to have a three-dimensional shape from a large number of porous adsorbents 37, 37a... of an inorganic material having particle diameter of 1 mm or larger, so that fats and oils are adsorbed in the ultrafine and fine pores and the insides of the adsorbents are impregnated with the fats and oils to purify the waste gas and elongate the use period. Gaps are surely kept between neighboring adsorbents 37, 37a... by making the particle diameter of the adsorbents 37, 37a... even, so that the ventilation resistance increase is suppressed. |
