AQUEOUS DISPERSION COMPOSITION AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aqueous dispersion composition comprising an aqueous dispersion of an ionomer resin neutralized with a bivalent metal and having such excellent characteristics as to meet increasingly exacting requirements in compatibility with and adhesion to polar compounds, and to provide a method of producing the composition in high yield. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) an ionomer resin neutralized with a bivalent metal and (B) a polyurethane resin at a ratio (A)/(B) of (99/1) to (50/ 50). The producing method comprises the step of blending (A) an ionomer resin neutralized with a bivalent metal with an univalent alkaline metal composition and then emulsifying it.
