<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air purifier with ion generating function capable of efficiently generating ion by discharging in an ionizer after removing small dust or retained moisture in an ionizer discharge part. SOLUTION: This air purifier with ion generating function is provided with an air fan driving part 2 for controlling an air fan 1, an ionizer driving part 4 for controlling the ionizer 3, a discharge voltage detecting part 5 for the ionizer 3, an ionizer emergency shut down means 6 for shutting down the ionizer driving part 4 when the detected signal from the discharge voltage detecting part 5 is abnormal and a control device for increasing the air quantity of the air fan 1 at a prescribed time before the ionizer 3 is operated more than the air quantity in the normal operation and after that, operating the ionizer 3 at the time of operating the ionizer 3.</p> |
