PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a biaxially oriented polyester film for forming a container, excellent in formability, impact resistance and flavor characteristics, especially excellent in adhesion to a metal plate formed by fabrication and suitable for a metal can. SOLUTION: This biaxially oriented polyester film for forming a container comprises a polyester composed of 80-99 pts.wt. constituent unit of ethylene terephthalate unit, and 1-20 pts.wt. constituent unit of ethylene isophthalate unit and/or ethylene naphthalate unit, 0.005-1 pt.wt. particle A having 0.005-0.3μm primary particle diameter and 0.01-3 pts.wt. particle B having 0.3-3μm primary particle diameter. The weight ratio of the particles A/B is regulated to 0.05-0.5. |
