<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an environmentally friendly bait kit capable of efficiently protecting houses from wood insect pests, having high safety to human beings and beasts by housing a bait material into a container, forming the opening in the specific direction and installing the container at a specific position. SOLUTION: This bait kit is obtained by installing a container 2 in which a bait material 3 is housed and an opening 2 which becomes an inlet for insect pests is formed in the direction at which insect pests crawl up in the passage of insect pests in a house. The container 2 is e.g. installed in the intermediate part in the height direction of a base concrete 1. The attachment of the container 2 to the base. concrete 1 is carried out by using a fixture 4 or an adhesive. For example, a pulp such as chemical pulp or mechanical pulp, optionally to which paper-strengthening agent or aluminium sulfate is added, sawdust, etc., can be exemplified as the bait material 3. The pulp includes preferably virgin pulp. The bait material 3 is preferably treated with a chemical.</p> |
