<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for combustion by which the generation and regeneration of dioxine can be prevented at a low cost. SOLUTION: A combustion device is composed of a combustion chamber 1, a regenerative burner 10, a tubular reactor 2 positioned in the chamber 1, a material charge inlet 3 communicating with reactor 2, a distributor 4 connected to the reactor 2, a heat-resistant filter 5 at the upper end of the distributor 4, and a discharge port 6 at the lower end of the distributor 4. In the combustion method, a material is burnt with the burner 10 by charging the material in the reactor 2 together with water and a neutralizer and sending the material to the distributor 4 after dry-distilling the material in the reactor 2, and then, making the distilled gas to flow to the chamber 1 and the exhaust gas is quickly cooled by discharging the gas through the heat storage body 30 of the burner 10.</p> |
