PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a structure of a gas generator which can prevent the slag from flowing out and can easily prevent a gas generating agent, filter member, etc., from swinging in the gas generator. SOLUTION: The inner edge 28 of a ring-shaped seal member 4 is press fitted on the periphery of an inner cylinder 14, and the outer edge 26 is fitted in a recess 25 in a filter member 3, and thereby the filter member 3 is located in a housing 1 and fixed. With this location and fixation of filter member 3, a gas generating agent 2 loaded in a combustion space S2 is also located and fixed. Thereby the filter member 3 and gas generating agent 2 are equipped with excellent vibration resistance, and the gas generating agent 2 can be prevented from pulverization or the like caused by vibration. A slag-containing high temp. gas generated in the combustion space S1 is precluded from flowing out to the inside of the gas passing space S1 directly from the bottom of the filter member 3 owing to a tight attachment of the outer edge 26 of the seal member 4 with the recess 25. |
