<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of reverse electrolytic dissociation phenome non or the re-scattering of dust, to make small-sized and to reduce the cost. SOLUTION: This electric precipitator is provided with plural box type dust collecting electrodes 31 arranged in parallel to each other and having an opened bottom and plural discharge electrodes 33 arranged between the dust collecting electrodes 31. Slits 41 and re-scattering preventing fins 43 extending along the slits 41 and for guiding dust to introduce into the dust collecting electrodes 31 are formed on the side wall 36 of the dust collecting electrode 31. In such a case, the dust stuck to the dust collecting electrodes 31 is stripped to fall dot to a under part hopper by working a hammering device to hammer and is recovered from the under part hopper. A part of the dust stripped from the dust collecting electrodes 31 and flowing with a gas to be treated is guided by the re-scattering preventing fins 43 to be introduced into the dust collecting electrodes 31. Then the re-scattering of the dust is prevented.</p> |
