<p>An adapter assembly (10) is provided for holding two individual fiber optic connectors (12) in generally parallel side-by-side alignment. The assembly includes a body (32) having a pair of holding portions (34) adapted for holding the fiber optic connectors (12) in a substantially side-by-side relationship.
