PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject protein effective for controlling the function of leukocyte, especially autoreactive T cell and useful for searching medicine for controlling the disease. SOLUTION: This protein is a 7 transmimbrane receptor protein ET 60 or its salt containing an amino acid sequence essentially same at the amino acid sequence of the formula. It can be prepared by collecting a cDNA fragment of the 7 transmembrane receptor protein ET 60 from autoreactive T cell 4R312 strain causing the crisis of experimental allergic encephalomyelitis(EAE), collecting its cDNA coding region over the whole length, preparing an expression system of a protein encoded by the cDNA and allowing the cell membrane of the transformant to produce the subject protein. |
