<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the same result as a flocking method of conventional technique using an intermedite layer of elastomer material, while reducing cost and using a simpler method and to obtain special finish that prevents initial breaking by the flocked surface. SOLUTION: A woven fabric web with fine texture is put over the surface of a part body such as a foam body so as to cover the whole part body. A tubular woven fabric web is used in the case of the part body being hollow. An adhesive is then sprayed to the woven fabric web by a spray gun, and the adhesive permeates the woven fabric web 2 and reaches the surface of the part body. Flocks 6 of wool, cotton yarn, synthetic fiber, or the like are projected on the woven fabric web 2 by a flock distributor 7 and planted in the woven fabric web 2 by the action of the electrid field. A flocking process is completed by the solidification of the adhesive.</p> |
