PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize appropriate pressing by surely holding a stock to be forged of different shape and size by a manipulator. SOLUTION: A stock feeding device 10 comprises a table 23 arranged above a frame 27, a first support part 29 to advance/retract a forward end part 23a of the table 23 in the vertical direction relative to a forward end part 27a of the frame 27 under the operation of an operating means 43, a second support part 36 to advance/retract a rear end part 23b of the table 23 in the vertical direction relative to a rear end part 27b of the frame 27 under the operation of an operating means 44, and abutting members 53, 55, 59 which are arranged on an upper surface of the table 23 and advanced/retracted under the operation of an operating means 58. The operating means 43 and the operating means 44 are synchronously controlled to position the stock to be forged in the vertical direction, and the operating means 58 is synchronously controlled to position the stock in the horizontal direction.
