PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the straightness of a cut surface well without a saw blade being bent to deviate and without the cut surface being curved even in the case of overcuring by using the saw blade of a material having a specified Young's modulus when a semi-cured lightweight foamed concrete block is cut. SOLUTION: As a material of a saw blade for cutting a semi-cured lightweight foamed concrete ALC block, a sintered hard alloy having a Young's modulus of at the lowest 3×10<4> kg/mm<2> is preferable in view of availability as an industrial product, prices, toughness, and others. A higher Young's modulus is preferable to keep the straightness of a cut surface; however, a Young's modulus of at the highest 8×10<4> kg/mm<2> is enough for practical use. Even when a semi-cured ALC block before autoclave treatment is cured to have a ball test value of, for example, 16-20 mm, a cut cross section is not curved so that cutting can be done while the straightness, or the squareness, of the cut surface being kept well.
