PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flame-retardant thermoplastic aromatic polyester resin composition having good mechanical strength, flame retardancy, dielectric breakdown and tracking resistance in a combined state. SOLUTION: This frame-retardant polyester resin composition is obtained by adding (A) 0-50 wt.% of a fibrous inorganic filler, (B) 5-20 wt.% of a brominated flame retardant, (C) 0-14 wt.% of an antimony flame retardancy auxiliary, and (D) 0.5-5 wt.% of a kaolin clay mineral inorganic filler to 20-4.9 wt.% of a thermoplastic aromatic polyester, and has a welding strength retention of >=40%. |
