PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for attaching and detaching an ink cartridge to easily charge and discharge the cartridge in and from a cartridge holder. SOLUTION: A cartridge attaching and detaching lever 70 is supported rotatably via a shaft 69 to a cartridge attaching and detaching port A part of a cartridge holder CH for charging an ink cartridge IC. A contact portion 71a formed at an intermediate point between the shaft and a handle 71 is constituted to be engaged with a tail end of the cartridge. Accordingly, the cartridge IC is given by a strong forward force by a principle of a lever by a relatively light rotating operation of the lever, and effectively charged in the holder. A link lever 74 retracted in response to a rotation of the lever 70 in a jumping-up direction is provided. The cartridge IC is returned in a cartridge attaching or detaching port A direction by retracting the lever 74. |
