Pyridocarbazole derivatives with cgmp-pde inhibitory activity

Novel pyridocarbazole derivatives which have a highly selective inhibitory action on cyclic GMP-phosphodiesterase (hereinafter abbreviated to cGMP-PDE); a process for producing these; preventives and/or therapeutic agents for pulmonary hypertension, ischemic heart diseases, and diseases for which cGMP-PDE inhibition is effective, characterized by comprising at least one of the derivatives as the active ingredient; and intermediates useful for producing the derivatives.
