PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a conductive path for supplying voltage to each electrode of a cup-like forceps pieces without an increase in the number of parts and provide a forceps type electric treatment tool excellent in insulation property of a conductive path. SOLUTION: This treatment tool includes a catheter tube 4 having flexibility, which can be inserted in the body, a support 6 which is installed on the distal end side of the catheter tube 4 to hold a first forceps piece 12 having a first cup-like recessed part and a second forceps piece 12 having a second cup-like recessed part in such a manner as to make the first recessed part and the second recessed part opposite to each other and be freely opened and closed, and formed by a conductive member, a first electrode of the first forceps piece a second electrode of the second forceps piece and a voltage supply means for supplying high frequency voltage between the first electrode and the second electrode. In this case, after a conductive flexible pipe 50 forming the catheter tube and the support 6 are joined to each other, the surfaces of the conductive flexible tube 50 and the support 6 are integrally covered with an insulating coating layer 54. |
