PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antibacterial film capable of exhibiting an excellent antibacterial effect without requiring to add a large amount of an antibacterial agent, and also excellent in appearance characteristics, anti-fogging property and antistatic property. SOLUTION: This antibacterial film contains 0.01-3 wt.% lauryldiethanolamine and/or myristyldiethanolamine, and is obtained e.g. by preparing a blended material containing 1.2 wt.% laurydiethanolamine and 0.5 wt.% silica having 2μmean particle diameter as an antiblocking agent based on 98.3 wt.% polypropylene having 160 deg.C melting point and 0.91 g/cm<3> density, extruding the blended material from a monolayer T die, stretching in its longitudinal direction, stretching in width direction by introducing into a tenter to obtain a biaxially stretched film consisting of a monolayer and having 25μthickness. Further, a corona-treatment is applied to the resultant film.
