PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing an ALC(autoclaved light-weight concrete) panel free from void crack above a reinforcing steel bar. SOLUTION: An ALC panel is produced by using siliceous raw material powder, calcareous raw material powder, cement and water as main raw materials, adding aluminum powder as a foaming agent and curing the mixture with steam. In the above process, the aluminum powder is pulverized in dry state to a specific surface area of 5-6 m<2> /g, a residue on 90μm sieve of <=10 wt.%, a residue on 45μm sieve of <=55 wt.% and a hydrogen gas generation starting time of 1-5 min from the addition of the aluminum powder.
