PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To observe a clear image after treatment with a laparoscope by surely removing smoke or mist generated at the end or after the end of cauterizing treatment. SOLUTION: When cauterizing treatment such as dissection treatment or coagulation treatment is ended, a treatment signal from a foot switch (through air feed and suction control device 12) is turned off. Suction and pressurization in the abdominal cavity of a patient are stopped according to a control signal turned off with a delay time preset by a delay variable circuit 38 to the change from ON signal state to the OFF state of a treatment signal from the foot switch through OR circuit 34 by a delay circuit 36 in an air feed and suction control device 12. Thus, with the abdominal cavity kept at fixed internal pressure, smoke or mist generated at the end or after the end of cauterizing treatment such as dissection treatment or coagulation treatment is surely removed. |
