PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic heater scarcely causing migration and a method for producing the ceramic heater. SOLUTION: This ceramic heater 1 comprises a base composed of a ceramic and a pyrogenic resistor 13. The ceramic comprises 90-96 wt.% Al2 O3 , 1-8 wt.% SiO2 , 0.6-1.5 wt.% MgO and 1.3-6.8 wt.% CaO and further, CaO/MgO is <=4.5 and total amount of MgO and CaO is >=1.9 wt.% when total amount of Al2 O3 , SiO2 , MgO and CaO is defined as 100 wt.% and the ceramic further contains 0.2-20.0 wt.% ZrO2 and 0.2-20.0 wt.% Y2 O3 when total amount of Al2 O3 , SiO2 , MgO and CaO is defined as 100 wt.%. |
