<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a traffic accident by fitting a safety lamp interlocked with a brake to the front section of a vehicle so that whether the brake is depressed or not can be recognized. SOLUTION: Following three methods are considered as implementation examples: (1) The conventional front lamps are concurrently used. The front lamps are set to strongly shine instantly when a brake is depressed so that the depression of the brake can be confirmed by the change of light. Small blue lamps lighted only when the brake is depressed are fitted. (2) Lamps dedicated to the brake are fitted. The blue dedicated lamps like fog lamps are fitted to the front face of an automobile as safety lamps. (3) The safety lamp is fitted to the back side of a rear view mirror in the automobile. It is a conspicuous place to the eyes of a pedestrian, and it becomes no obstacle for driving. It is considered that the safety lamp may be red at this place.</p> |
