PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt sander with improved grinding efficiency and stable running performance and to provide a good grinding surface without requiring a manual high-degree operation technology. SOLUTION: A driving pulley 2 is rotated by a driving motor 17, and a belt 8 having grinding particles which is hung on the outer periphery of this driving pulley 2, an idler pulley 3, a master idler pulley 4, a tension adjusting idler pulley 5, and a backup plate 7. By pressing this rotating belt 8 onto a machining surface of a work, and bringing bottom surface guide rollers 10, 11 into contact with the machining surface of the work for guiding, the work can be guided certainly and a good grinding surface is provided. |
