PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply do mounting work at the lower part of a sink by fitting and mounting a garbage disposer from the upper part of the sink into a mounting hole in the sink. SOLUTION: A garbage disposer is formed with a sink flange 2, an upper casing 11 and a lower casing 12 provided with a drain pipe 15, the upper casing 11 and the lower casing 12 being connected to each other via a connection 14. A housing 13 is provided at the lower part of the lower casing 12 to closely house a motor and the maximum outer diameter of the garbage disposer is formed to be smaller than the inner diameter d1 of the threaded portion of a fastening nut 6. |
