The prepared gel enables the fixation of fluorescent compounds in an acrylic base, to produce luminescent effects under UV light. The gel is prepared by curdling of milk to produce a whey solution, which is strained off to recover a transparent liquid. This is heated to 75 deg C. A white vinylic glue (e.g. wood glue) is then mixed with the liquid at 75 deg C avoiding the formation of lumps. The proportion of glue is 1/4 of the volume of whey. The gel obtained is cooled then placed in a sealed container. For use, the gel is mixed with the fluorescent paint and the solution obtained mixed with the acrylic paint.
