Protective device for drive shafts The protective device for a driveshaft (1), has two universal joints (2,3), whereby the first joint is associated with a protective cone (6). The cone has an extension in the form of a cone portion (14) in which a sleeve (15) is received. The sleeve co-operates with an adapter ring which has to be secured to an agricultural implement so as to be stationary, and is positioned on an adapter ring. The ring has inwardly directed splines which engage correspondingly distributed grooves on the outer face of the adapter ring (21). As the remaining components of the protective device, i.e. the protective tube connected to the cone and the tube associated with the second universal joint engage one another, while being firmly connected to a second protective cone by an attachment cap.
