The invention concerns an exhaust device for internal combustion engine, comprising a system for treating exhaust gases (5), such as a catalyst container or a particle filter, comprising a shell (51) wherein is housed the treating element (52) through which the exhaust gases pass. The invention is characterised in that it comprises upstream of said exhaust gas treating system (5), in the direction of the exhaust gas flow, a bent conduit (6) feeding exhaust gases, said conduit (6) including deflecting means (62) for homogeneous distribution of the exhaust gases through said treating element (52).
