The holder (30) is made from a plate of material, e.g. stainless steel, cut with slots and bent to form two or more elastically flexible jaws (34, 36, 38). The jaws are able to apply a simultaneous and opposite pressure to the spinal osteosynthesis rod (2) and connector (10), holding them in the required position and preventing any relative rotation or axial movement.
