The invention concerns a metal ring (4) used for making integral a glass part (1) and a metal part with different coefficients of expansion. The ring (4) is circular and comprises a first portion (5) designed to be in contact with the metal part, a second portion (7) designed to be in contact with the glass part (1), and a linking portion (6) arranged between the first and second portions. The thickness of the second portion (7) is less than that of the first portion (5) and of the linking portion (6) so as to adapt to the expansion of the glass part (1) by exerting on the latter stresses below the stress limit of said glass part (1). |
