The soil-less culture tray consists of a base (2), a side wall (3), which defines the useful surface (4), which is occupied by the taproots of the plants. A level control mechanism (6) is provided to control the level of the nutritive medium. The tray is fitted with a drainage channel (7), which is fitted around the outer periphery of the useful surface.
