An improved enclosed multi-purpose utility table is adaptable for mounting on a horizontal fence railing or for resting on a floor surface or wheelable on a floor surface. The table includes a rectangular base member (4) with a pair of stationary secured end plates (8, 10). A pair of bars (18, 20) are inserted in corresponding upper corner openings (12a, 12b) of the end plates (8, 10) and a cover sheet (22) is mounted over the bars (18, 20) and end plates (8, 10) with the bottom ends of the sheet (22) extending to the base member (4) sides to allow each side of the cover sheet (22) to be independently opened and closed. The bottom ends of the cover sheet (22) are weighted and may be fitted into corresponding lower corner openings (14a, 14b) of the end plates (8, 10). A third bar (28) is provided on the cover sheet (22), centered between the first and second bars (18, 20) with locking means (30, 32) overlapping the three bars. The locking means (30, 32) together with the overlapped three bars form a cradle to support either or both sides of the cover sheet (22) when either or both sides are opened for access to the interior of the table. Various alternative leg support means are provided on the backside of the base member (4). |
