<p>A hoist ring assembly is secured to a load plate (32). The assembly comprises an elongate central stud (2) having a threaded shank portion (10) at the top and means to carry a load plate (32) at the bottom end. A rotatable ring (4) is located above the load plate (32) and secured about the stud (2) by an upper nut (6) on the upper threaded portion (10) of the stud (2). A bail (8) is pivotally secured to the ring (4). The load plate (32) is securable against the ring (4). An intermediate integral transverse collar (14) is provided and the means is the other end of the stud (2) having a threaded portion (12) engageable by a lower nut (36).</p> |
