<p>Processes for the production of prepregs and laminated sheets, which are free from air pollution, permits resource conservation, and make it possible to produce excellent laminated sheets having constant qualities at a low cost. Specifically, a process for the production of prepregs, characterized by imparting mechanical energy to a mixture comprising a powdered thermosetting resin and a curing agent as the essential components to cause a mechanochemical reaction, and applying the powdered resin composition thus obtained either as such or in a state mixed homogeneously with a finely powdered additive having a mean particle diameter of 0.01 to 1 νm to a sheet like fibrous substrate in such a way that the composition exists at least on the surfaces thereof; and a process for the production of laminated sheets, characterized by hot-pressing a laminate comprising one or more prepregs produced by the above process and, if necessary, a metal foil laid on one or both of the faces.</p> |
