<p>The present invention pertains to the field of the food industry and more precisely relates to foodstuffs and food additives which are intended for farm animals and birds and which are produced using derivatives from the meat and fish industry as well as vegetal raw materials. The purpose of this invention is to provide a food additive which is balanced as for the amino acid content, the carbohydrates, the lipids, the micro- and macro-elements as well as the vitamins in order to increase the animals productivity while decreasing the foodstuff consumption per production unit. This invention can also be used for giving bactericidal properties to the additive due to the inhibitory activity of peat against these substances present in the foodstuff and used as a substrate for the micro-flora. This food additive for farm animals and birds contains peat as well as a component from animal origin which may consist of bone, bone and meat or fish flour in proportions of 1: 0.75: 5 - 4, respectively.</p> |
