Elevator esp. for large passenger aircraft

The elevator carries people and objects between the decks of a large passenger aircraft at different heights. The conveyor elements consisting of floors (1) are held at the spacing of the decks from each other and are connected by an endless drive element running in a travel shaft (4) designed as a transporting shaft, the internal cross section of which is the same in shape as the outer shape of the floors. There may be two shafts along side each other running through the floors in opposite directions.
