摘要 The process uses scanning power included in the intersymbol interference which is obtained by dividing the symbol by the data transmission channel. The process starts with reception of an input symbol in a k-th time step, with the symbol being part of the input symbol sequence. A series of branch-off ratios for the input symbol is calculated, each ratio indicating a difference between the input symbol and a series of forecast input symbols. A state ratio is calculated for each A symbol in the alphabet for the k-th time step, dependent on state ratio for the (k-1)th time step and the series of the branch-off ratios. The comparison result is determined for each A symbol, and the results are stored for each A symbol for the k-th time step in a back tracking memory. When the k-thg time step is of back tracking type, the best symbol sequence is transmitted according to the comparison results. An Independent claim is included for a sequence detector.
