PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high recording characteristic from an initial recording state in the phase transition type optical disk having a relation that the reflectance is greater than the light absorption rate even when recording is conducted without initializing processing. SOLUTION: A light absorption layer 2, a 1st dielectric layer 3, a recording layer 4, a 2nd dielectric layer 5, a reflection layer 6, and a UV curing resin layer 7 are provided on a substrate 1. The composition of the 1st dielectric layer 3 and/or the 2nd dielectric layer 5 includes 1.2 at.% of hydrogen or over. Thus, even when overwrite is made without initializing processing, the C/N at the initial recording is made almost the same as the C/N in the case of overwrite. |
