PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a karaoke reproduction system where a reproduction section that reproduces a selected karaoke music and an output section that provides an output of an image and audio data of the selected karaoke music are placed at a separate place respectively apart from each other. SOLUTION: A karaoke reproduction system that reproduces a karaoke disk on sectors 2c1-2c7,... of which compressed digital video and digital audio data signals by the MPEG standards relating to image and audio data of a karaoke music are separately recorded as a series of compressed data signals, is provided with player sections 12, 13 that reproduce a selected karaoke swing along music, a video signal expansion section 14d and an audio signal expansion section 14e that expand the compressed data signals outputted from the player sections 12, 13 in a complementary way to data compression and demodulate the signals into digital video and audio signals to provide an output of the image and audio data of the selected karaoke music, and communication modules 11b, 14a that are interposed among the player sections 12, 13, the video signal expansion section 14d and the audio signal expansion section 14e in a communication enable way. |
