<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent combustion failure from happening when a combustion amount is altered in a boiler where combustion waste gas is recirculated for combustion. SOLUTION: A boiler is adapted such that air supply amount adjusting means 7 is provided for altering the amount of combustion air supply sent to a burner 3, and an EGR damper 6 is provided in the course of a waste gas circulation passage 5 for circulating combustion waste gas from the boiler 1, for altering the amount of waste gas, and further there are achieved adjustment of the supply amount of combustion air due to the air supply amount adjusting means 7 and adjustment of the circulation amount of combustion waste gas due to actuation of the EGR damper 6 in response to the combustion amount of the burner. In the boiler, there is set a time difference between an output of alteration of the supply amount of the combustion air by the air supply amount adjusting means 7 and an output of the alteration of the circulation amount of the combustion exhaust gas by the EGR damper 6, and when the combustion amount is altered, a circulation rate of the combustion waste gas is temporarily lowered owing to the aforesaid time difference.</p> |
