PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an electrolyte or the like adhered to a terminal periphery from stagnating and avoid degraded performance of a battery by setting whole or part of a battery top face having terminals arranged to a downward inclination of a specific angle toward at least one side face direction. SOLUTION: In a storage battery in which positive and negative pole plates of given numbers, a separator, and an electrolyte are housed, a cap provided with a liquid mouth is applied, and a terminal 2 of the positive and negative pole plates is erected on a cap face, a battery jar or a cap 1 being formed of thermoplastic synthetic resin, a face 3 in which whole or part of a battery top face is inclined at an angle of 5 degrees toward at least one side face direction is formed so that an electrolyte or the like adhered to the battery top face flows down. Thereby, with a use elapse of the battery, a resin face of the terminal periphery is subjected to adhesion of oil and fat or ozone deterioration, water repellent properties is gradually lowered, wetting state of a resin face are prevented, and forming of a leak circuit or battery discharge is avoided. |
