PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition capable of sufficiently laminating a metallic board and a plastic film in a short time and maintaining excellent adhesiveness by including a polyester resin, a modified epoxy resin and a hardener. SOLUTION: This composition consists essentially of three components of (A) a polyester resin, (B) a modified epoxy resin obtained by carrying out the ester interchange reaction of (i) an aromatic polybasic acid ester with (ii) a part of a secondary hydroxy group in the epoxy resin having the secondary hydroxy group and (C) a hardener (preferably a thermoset type hardener) and is obtained by mixing the components. The content of each component is preferably 20-80 pts.wt. component A, 5-50 pts.wt. component B and 2-50 pts.wt. component C in 100 pts.wt. total amount of the components A to C. By using the composition, a metal plate covered with a laminate film capable of maintaining the adhesion even after various kinds of processing and a hot-water treatment, etc., after the lamination, hardly causing cloudiness, etc., at the adhesive layer and usable for a beverage can is provided. |
