PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the satellite channel access system capable of enhancing performance of data transmission from a peripheral station to a center station. SOLUTION: The satellite channel access system uses as a time division multiple access system both a slot processing aloha system that conducts random access and a slot reservation system conducting access through the use of time slots reserved by a center station C exclusively for each peripheral station. In the case the center station C assigns a time slots exclusively to each peripheral station, two systems are used together. In one of the systems, time slots are assigned by the number requested by peripheral stations T1-T3, and in another one of the systems, the number of time slots used by the peripheral stations T1-T3 is estimated in advance by the center station C. For instance, on simultaneous occurrence of reply data in the peripheral stations T1-T3, data are transferred with a small delay without causing data collision. |
