PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a through hole type FPC(a flexible printed circuit) connecting connector with a low profile, the large number of cores (the number of contacts), and capable of fitting with weak operating force. SOLUTION: A large number of through holes are perforated in an FPC and an elastic body backing 5 so as to correspond to each pin part 3a of a large number of pin contacts. After bonding the elastic body backing 5 to the FPC 4 so as to be piled up, a conductive thin film 6 is formed over the inside of each through hole of the FPC 4 and the inside of each through hole of the elastic body backing 5. The diameter of each pin part 3a is made smaller than that of each through hole of the FPC but larger than that of each through hole of the elastic body backing 5. When the FPC and a substrate is connected, each pin part 3a smoothly passes through each through hole of the FPC, expands each through hole of the elastic body backing 5, and the contact pressure is generated between each pin part 3a and the conductive thin film 6.
