PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select any one of plural received information storing areas in accordance with a caller side identification(ID) information to store the received information in the selected area. SOLUTION: A communication equipment provided with a received information storing means having plural received information storing areas is provided with an ID information storing means capable of correspondingly storing the ID information of other optional communication equipments and the ID information of received information storing areas, a caller side ID information detecting means for detecting (S2, S6) caller side ID information, an ID information registration judging means for judging (S7, S18) whether the caller side ID information detected by the detecting means is stored in the storing means or not, and a received information storage controlling means for storing (S8, S19) received information in a received information storing area having ID information corresponding to the caller side ID information when the ID information registration judging means judges (S7: YES, S18: YES) that the caller side ID information is stored in the ID information storing means.
