The transformer comprises four flat layers of conductor lines, with links forming windings. The integrated circuit transformer comprises four levels of conducting lines (12,12,14,16) separated by first, second and third insulating layers. A set of conducting links (34) extend across the second insulating layer (56), linking together the second and third conducting lines, and forming with them a first winding (33). A second set of conducting links (38) extend through the first, second and thirds insulating layers, linked the first and fourth conducting lines and forming with them a second winding (36). The second winding is thus formed about the first, and is concentric with it. |
