PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new alkylenediamine derivative having an action to inhibit the contraction for urination on elevation in the inner pressure of bladder and useful as a medicine for dysuria. SOLUTION: The compound of formula I [R<1> is H, an alkyl, (substituted) phenyl or the like; R<2> is (substituted) phenyl, naphthyl or an aromatic heterocyclic group; R<3> and R<4> are H, an alkyl, an aralkyl or an aryl, or R<3> and R<4> are bound to each other to form a (substituted) heterocyclic group; X is O, S or imino; Y is O or S; Z is CH2 , CO or CS; (m) and (n) are each 0-4; (r) is 0 or 1; (p) and (q) are 0-5, wherein (p)+(q)=1 to 5]. For example, 5-benzyl-3-(3- morpholino-1-phenylprophyl)-1,3-oxazolin-2-one, is obtained by reacting a compound of formula II with a compound of formula III (Q is a halogen or a releasable group such as tosyloxy or methyloxy). |
