PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified fluoroplastic composite material excellent in abrasion resistance and creep resistance. SOLUTION: A modified fluoroplastic composite material is characterized by that modified fluoroplastic with crystallization calorie of 40 J/g or less and an m.p. of 325 deg.C or lower is compounded with other member such as a metal, ceramic, rubber, a resin or the like. As a compounding method, a method for chemically treating the surface of a molded article having a sheet shape, a block shape or other shape composed of modified fluoroplastic to activate the same and bonding the molded article to other member by using an adhesive, a method thermally fusing the molded article of modified fluoroplastic and other member, a method introducing modified fluoroplastic into a mold and subsequently casting a material becoming other member into the mold, a method premixing a modified fluoroplastic powder with rubber or a resin to apply the premix to the surface of other member or baking the same and a method providing a cavity or hole on the surface of other member and embedding a powder or a molded article of modified fluoroplastic in the cavity or the hole can be employed. |
