PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic resin compsn. improved in heat resistance, tensile strength, and impact strength by compounding an epoxidized olefin polymer, an olefin polymer other than the foregoing olefin polymer, and a polyarylene sulfide having epoxy-reactive groups. SOLUTION: The content of the polyarylene sulfide in the compsn. is 5-50 wt.%. The wt. ratio of the epoxidized olefin polymer to the polyarylene sulfide is (1/10)-(34/3), and that of the epoxidized olefin polymer to the other olefin polymer, (67/33)-(3/97). Pref., the epoxy group content of the epoxidized olefin polymer is 0.05-0.5 mmol/g. Polyphenylene sulfide is suitable as the polyarylene sulfide. Pref., the epoxidized olefin polymer contains at least 85% polyolefin (pref. PP) structural parts. |
